About Kuoe Watches at Atelier Amblers

Atelier Amblers are happy to present you Kuoe watches from Kyoto, Japan.

KUOE is a watch brand that was established in the historic Japanese city of Kyoto in 2020. The brand was created with the vision of creating a classic watch design and size. Each watch is individually assembled by KUOE's own watchmakers in our workshop in KUOE KYOTO and delivered to you with great care. We want people to enjoy high-quality classic watches made in Japan.

1. Old Smith/ 90-002 

​This automatic watch was inspired by the British military watches of the 1940s. OLD SMITH/90-002 recreates the design of those times with a 35 mm diameter rarely seen in modern automatic watches, thick Arabic numerals and hands, light orange fluorescent paint, and dial with a matte finish. The body is stainless steel, and polished to add elegance to the rustic feel.

2. Old Smith/ 90-007

Equipped with CITIZEN MIYOTA's Japanese-made Cal. 82S5 movement, this 35 mm model is inspired by antique watches of the 1930s and is designed with classic details and styling to create a vintage atmosphere.

The elegant leaf hands have a three-dimensional design with chevron processing. It also incorporates the "curved hands" technique, in which the tip of the long hand is distorted along the glass, which was common in watches made several decades ago. This hand design is easily readable while at the same time maintaining a sense of luxury.

3. Royal Smith/ 90-006

Premium series ROYAL SMITH 90-006 is designed with a 35 mm diameter rarely seen in modern automatic watches, Breguet numerals, Dolphin hands and dial with a Japanese traditional paper "Washi" pattern. The beating heart of the watch, they adopted the CITIZEN MIYOTA-made Cal.9039, a Japanese-manufactured high beat premium automatic movement.

4. Royal Smith/ 90-008 

Royal Smith 90-008 is the flagship model from KUOE's premium line. Designed from the scratch with thoroughly selected parts. Inspired by antique watches from the 1940's, this model uses a cushion case that was common in those days. The classic Breguet numerals on the dial are individually hand-applied, and we give textures to the surface of the dial. The watch glass and caseback are equipped with domed sapphire crystals with AR coating. 

The beating heart of the watch, they adopted the CITIZEN MIYOTA-made Cal.9039, a Japanese–manufactured high beat movement.
